4 Live Classes | Offered Live via Zoom

Program Description

What you will receive:

  • 4 Live Webinar Sessions with Q & A
  • 4 Links to the Recordings

This course is designed for all those who are committed to ameliorating the spiritual, mental, emotional, psychological, and physical imbalances. We as medical doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, alternative healers, and ministers are constantly giving, giving, giving; yet, who gives to us. This course will help you overcome compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, as a preventive measure to encountering burnout.

This Course is Ideal For:

  • Medical Doctors
  • Psychiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Therapists
  • Social Workers
  • Alternative Healers
  • Ministers

Course Overview:

Week 1

Within this course, lecture, live interaction as well as the reading of excerpts from the 2020 Best Mind-Body Healing Walden award winning book, The Pocket Guru will be utilized to positively impact the mental, emotional and spiritual aspect of the Self. Professional caregivers allow yourself to take a deserving respite from your work! The healer deepens into the meaning of the symptom which often leads, not only to relief, but sometimes to complete spontaneous remission. Allow us to understand the difference between curing and healing while we, as healers, embark upon the wondrous journey of healing our own lives. The Pocket Guru will further enlighten us through readings on Confidence, Healing and I.

Week 2

Within the present Zeitgeist, the phrase, “mental health “is beginning to take center stage. Indeed, as we continue to hear about the occurrence of mass shootings, murder, domestic violence, rape, house break- ins, hit and run accidents, embezzlement and other fraudulent behaviors, we question, “what is really going on?” We have the DSM-V which annotates mental/emotional imbalances, yet, where is the journal that details what it means to be mentally healthy? During this presentation we will propose concepts/premises of what it means to be mentally healthy. Join us for what will, undoubtedly, be a stimulating session. The Pocket Guru will further inform us through readings on Communication, Decisions and Thoughts.

Week 3

It is saddening that as a culture we have devalued the importance of emotional intelligence while, simultaneously, exiling the Heart. That which is of particular concern for us is how this has impacted professional caregivers. Now enter, Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, and Vicarious Trauma. Each is a wounded healer but allow us not to become the wounding healer. During this session we will acknowledge, explore and validate the offerings of the heart as we deepen into authentic living. The Pocket Guru will assist us through readings on Feeling, Trust, Relaxation and Stress.

Week 4

We are born from the cosmos into the cosmos; this is a journey of the Soul. Yes, we are a living soul! Allow, us to take time out to nurture our soul and to constellate a soulful Life. Interestingly, what is the difference between soul and spirit? What say the yogis about soul? What say the Akashic Records about soul? The Pocket Guru will further enlighten and enliven us through readings on Life, Surrender and New.

By the End of This Course, You Will Be Able To:

CEC Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the five levels of healing: Behavioral, mental, spiritual, emotional, and soul.
  • Specify at least five examples of what it means to be mentally healthy.
  • Explain operating from a modality of healing rather than curing.
  • Describe comfortable (joy, contentment, hope) and uncomfortable (anger, frustration, fear) feelings.
